OUR COMPANY

Founded in 1955 by Vic Marinovich, our company has a rich history deeply rooted in the show industry. Vic, having started with a few sideshow games, quickly gained recognition and in 1958 secured a plot of land at the Perth Royal Show on Wittenoom Ave.

Remarkably, this is the exact site where our operations continue today, now under the stewardship of Mark, representing the third generation of the Marinovich family.

1955

THE MAGIC BEGINS

Vic Marinovich was a delivery driver by day and to earn some additional money for his young family, joined the world of show business working as a magician and general hand at the then Luna Park Scarborough.

Vic is one of the founding members of the WA Showmen’s Association and travels to Kalgoorlie, Western Australia to attend the annual fair. Here he creating his first sideshow game dubbed The Fishing Pool. Players had to catch 4 magnetic fish with a bamboo rod. The same concept still exists today.

This same year, a plot of land became available at the Perth Royal Show. Vic applied and was successful, and this kickstarted the Marinovich families long association with the Royal Agricultural Society of WA.

From the golden age of amusement parks in the 1960s to the digital age of the 21st century, the company has adapted and thrived, enriching the lives of generations of families with its unique brand of excitement and adventure.
